Where do the proceeds from the ReStore sales go?
Proceeds from the sale of donated building materials support Habitat for Humanity's mission to provide simple descent housing in Ventura County.
Is the ReStore open to the public?
Absolutely! We invite everyone to stop in and shop at our ReStore.
Are my donations tax-deductible?
Yes, a donations receipt is given at the time of your drop-off or left by our driver.
Does the ReStore place a value on the items we donate?
No! You place the value of your donations.
Do you pick items up?
Yes! If you have several items which are too large to fit in your personal vehicle, we would be more than happy to schedule a pick up. We service Ventura County, so please give us a call to schedule.
How can I schedule a pick up of items I am donating?
Call the ReStore at (805) 981-2268 to schedule pick ups.
How are the items priced at the ReStore?
Most items are 50-90% off retail.
Where do items come from?
Donations come from both individuals and businesses.
How often do you get new merchandise?
New merchandise comes in daily.
How can my business get involved?
Bring a group of volunteers to the store (there is ALWAYS something for you to do)! For more information call our Volunteer Coordinator at (805) 485-6065
How can I help the ReStore?
There are essentially two ways you can help the ReStore. One way is to make your home improvement purchases at the ReStore and to tell your friends about us. However, the Habitat ReStore is always looking for volunteers to help with stocking shelves, picking up donations, and general store upkeep. Your donations also help the ReStore.
How does the ReStore help the Habitat for Humanity Ventura County affiliate?
