City of Ventura Recognizes Habitat’s 30th Anniversary


On February 25, 2013 at the Ventura City Council meeting, Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County received a special commendation from the City of Ventura in acknowledgement of its 30 year anniversary.

During the Public Comments portion of the meeting, Board Member David Goldstein spoke about Habitat’s mission and shared a short presentation,”Why We Build”.

Ventura’s Mayor, the Honorable Mike Tracy, presented a Certificate of Acknowledgement to David and Nancy Stehle, Interim Executive Director, for Habitat’s 30 years of service in Ventura County.

It was a special moment for the affiliate, and we thank the great City of San Buenaventura for their recognition.
