In 2004, Habitat to the Max joined with Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County to share their dream of building affordable homes in partnership with low-income families in
need of safe, decent housing. Since then, we have been overwhelmed with the support from our community. With help from businesses and individuals like yourself, Habitat to the Max has raised over $1 million on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County to build 8 single-family homes, repair houses for older homeowners on fixed income, and engage hundreds of family, friends and volunteers in the process.
We are now preparing for our 13th annual “Habitat to the Max” Dinner & Auction on Saturday April 1, 2017 to sponsor our 9th family and we invite you to support our efforts. Last year, nearly 99% of revenues raised went directly to fund our Habitat building projects, with only about 1% allocated to operating expenses.
Your donation is an investment that will have an impact for generations to come. To better understand the life-changing benefit of your support, please read the letter from 9-year-old Camila whose family became Habitat homeowners earlier this year. Your donation of $10 to $10,000 will help buy a box of nails, a front door, windows, and other building materials. Thank you for considering this opportunity to reach out to families in need.
