December Update – Stroube Street Foundation Underway

A home provides the foundation by which individuals, families, and children survive, thrive, and contribute to the vitality of our community.

  • We are happy to report that the physical foundations for both homes are well underway at 271 and 281 Stroube Street in Oxnard.
  • Thanks to an outpouring of support from the community, the lot has been graded and trenches dug. Volunteers are placing rebar – a critical step in foundation work – and moving a lot of dirt around the site!
  • We will have volunteers onsite every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
  • Upcoming volunteer jobs at Stroube will focus on foundation work.
